South Bend-based IN*SOURCE has named a new executive director. Joel Boehner, who previously served as director of the Indiana Parent Training Program for the organization, succeeds Richard Burden, who held the position for nearly 35 years.

Boehner spent the past two years in his earlier role. Prior to joining IN*SOURCE, Boehner spent eight years at Bethel College in a variety of roles covering college-level and developmental instruction, career services, student retention and disability services.

IN*SOURCE says, during Burden’s 35 years as executive director, the organization has grown from 10 local employees to 50 statewide employees. The organization provides training, information and support of families of children with special needs.
