Eric Marvin has been named executive director of the Evansville Sports Corp. He previously served as director of sports tourism for The Columbus Area Visitors Center.

Marvin succeeds Jason Sands who now serves as director of sports at the Fort Worth Convention and Visitors Bureau. The organization helps prepare bids, manage, recruit, promote and sell tournaments and sporting events in the city. It also hosts youth clinics and events connected to the various competitions.
