Indianapolis-based mobility management software and services company MOBI has been acquired. Financial terms of the deal are not being disclosed, however New Jersey-based Tangoe says MOBI’s Indianapolis office will become the headquarters for the combined company’s global Managed Mobility Services business.
Tangoe is a technology expense management company with offices throughout the world. MOBI co-founder and chief executive officer Scott Kraege will join the Tangoe Board of Directors and maintain an advisory role on culture, customer success, and employee engagement.
"The opportunity for MOBI to bring our award-winning software, automation and team to the global marketplace with Tangoe is incredibly exciting," Kraege said in a news release. "The spirit of innovation at MOBI, combined with the power to invest and apply global resources to our solutions, will truly accelerate our market position and ultimately, allow us to provide the best possible solutions for our customers."
MOBI co-founder and president Josh Garrett will join Tangoe as president of MMS. Tangoe says current MOBI customers will continue to be supported by the same teams they have in the past.
