New Health Clinic to Open at CityWay

Franciscan Health will Monday open its new ExpressCare CityWay clinic in downtown Indianapolis. The facility, which will be the first urgent care center in downtown Indy, will offer a variety of services in addition to treatment of minor illnesses and injuries.
The clinic, located at 325 S. Alabama Street, will be open every day from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. The health system says the facility will offer a full-service occupational medicine clinic, x-ray and lab services, school, sports and camp physicals, drug and alcohol screenings, and flu and tetanus shots, among other services.
"Our new facility will provide close and convenient access to medical care not only to nearby residents, but also to those who work and socialize in downtown Indianapolis," said Paul Driscoll, executive medical director for Franciscan Physician Network.
The health system says the clinic accepts most insurance and managed care plans and no appointments are necessary. The clinic is also located near the Franciscan CityWay facility, which offers additional services such as family and sports medicine, free sports injury checks and obstetrics/gynecology care.
