PTS Diagnostics’ $30 million project will take almost a year to complete and is projected to bring an additional 50 to 70 jobs to the Boone County town over the next 3 to 5 years.
Robert Huffstodt, chief executive officer of the company, said “PTS Diagnostics is still in high-growth mode, and our organization has evolved considerably in the past decade.”
The diagnostics company manufactures point-of-care in-vitro testing devices, which are machines that help physicians by running tests at a patient’s bedside. PTS Diagnostics employs 150 people in Indianapolis at its flagship location, and has two more offices in Sunnyvale, California and Bangalore, India.
PTS says the facility is set to open in June of 2019.
