New Haven Company Scores Military Contract

Subscribe NowThe U.S. Department of Defense has awarded a $13.7 million contract to New Haven-based Hupp Aerospace. The three-year contract calls for the delivery of medium truck electrical parts kits for the U.S. Army.
The DOD says the work will be performed in Indiana and is expected to be completed by September 25, 2019. Hupp Aerospace was chosen for the contract out of three companies that made bids.
The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime in Michigan is the contracting activity. Hupp Aerospace was founded in Fort Wayne in 1978 and, according to its website, 75,000 kits annually for various sectors.
