New GM, Assistant GM at Blue Chip

Las Vegas-based Boyd Gaming Corp. says Brenda Temple will serve as general manager and Bret Cox as assistant general manager. Temple most recently served as assistant general manager at Cannery Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas and her previous positions include director of finance for Blue Chip, director of operations and Gold Coast Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and director of finance at Sam’s Town in Mississippi.
Cox has worked at several Boyd Gamin properties, including time as a table dealer and director of gaming operations at Blue Chip.
