New Flights to Begin in Evansville
Evansville Regional Airport is preparing to host a kickoff celebration Thursday morning for new air service to Chicago. Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke estimates the United Airlines flights will have a $12 million impact on the Tri-State. The airport made the announcement back in February.
Starting June 4, United Airlines will be adding three daily flights from Evansville Regional Airport to Chicago O'Hare International Airport.
United will use its 50-passenger regional jets for the service.
