INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – With a growing number of breweries popping up, the need to be unique is vital, according to the owner of a new brewpub called “Chilly Water Brewing Company” which will blend great beer with great music.
Skip DuVall has been one of the key members of the Indianapolis brewing scene for a few years after being the head brewer at the former Alcatraz Brewing Co. and the Fountain Square Brewing Co. He is now turning his talents to a 50 seat location that will feature his signature craft beers, a great one page locally sourced menu, and plenty of music. Chilly Water Brewing Company will be located on the Cultural Trail in the historic neighborhood of Fletcher place near downtown Indianapolis.
“Beer is certainly important,” says Skip, “but this location gives me the opportunity to create an atmosphere. We’re going to have a very relaxed vibe and only serve up the best of the best. Our theme is an urban brewpub with super food infused with great music. I believe that having occasional live music along with an eclectic playlist will set us apart from other brewpubs.”
In recent years the number of local breweries has risen exponentially across the US.
Experts believe this trend will continue because the freshness and seasonality of craft beers can’t be matched by the giant breweries.
“When people are looking for a casual spot for a beer and great tunes, Chilly Water will be the place to come. We’re going to have a lot of fun engaging with our customers.”
Chilly Water is scheduled to open in early summer, 2014. Updates are available on the
