New CFO For Wabash College

Wabash College has appointed Kendra Cooks as chief financial officer. Cooks, who most recently served as comptroller for Purdue University, will join the Crawfordsville campus in May.
Cooks will succeed Larry Griffith, who is retiring at the end of the current academic year. Wabash College says Cooks will serve as special assistant to President Gregory Hess beginning May 1 and will assume the role of CFO on June 1.
"We were blessed to have a large pool of exceptionally well qualified candidates, and Kendra Cooks stood out because of her experience at Purdue University and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte," said Hess. "In her previous roles, she has provided strong leadership, change management, and strategic problem solving. We are excited to have her on our leadership team.”
A native of Crawfordsville, Cooks served as assistant comptroller at Purdue for 10 years before being named university comptroller at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. The college says Cooks is currently working toward her doctoral degree in education administration.
