New Albany rehab hospital acquired

Pennsylvania-based Pam Health said this week it has acquired the New Albany medical facility, though financial terms of the deal are not being disclosed.
The hospital, which will now be known as Pam Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Greater Indiana North, provides rehab services for a variety of medical issues, including brain injury, orthopedic, and stroke.
Pam Health did not specify how many employees work at the New Albany hospital or if any jobs would be impacted by the acquisition. However, CEO Anthony Misitano said the company is excited to partner with the team in place at the hospital.
“Together, we aim to build on their strong foundation by enhancing patient care and fostering a culture of innovation and healing,” Misitano said in a news release. “Patients remain our top priority, and we know the key to delivering exceptional care lies in a dedicated, extraordinary team focused on optimizing outcomes.”
A request for additional information on the acquisition from Inside INdiana Business was not returned.
Pam Health provides post-acute health care services at more than 100 facilities in 23 states. The New Albany hospital, located at 3104 Blackiston Boulevard, joins Pam Health’s other rehabilitation facility in nearby Clarksville.
