The company says Union at 16th is a $29 million project located in the Emrichsville neighborhood near 16th and White River Parkway W. Drive.
The Annex Group says having now closed on financing, construction will begin immediately and open in late 2021.
“It will be situated near IU Health Methodist Hospital, many businesses and feature access to ample public transportation,” said Kyle Bach, chief executive officer of The Annex Group. “We believe a property like this can have an incredible impact on the people who live here and crave affordable housing that is also high-quality and convenient.”
The development will have 159 units with one-, two- and three-bedroom options at 2215 W. 16th Street. In addition to parking, the property will include a host of amenities including community gardens, playground, gazebo, and community center.
