The NCAA has announced Rogers Redding will retire as national coordinator of football officials. He has served in the position since 2011. Redding began officiating in the Southwest Conference over 30 years ago. He also held the position of NCAA secretary-rules editor from 2008 to 2017. Redding received his bachelor’s degree from Georgia Tech and his master’s and doctorate in physical chemistry from Vanderbilt.
