NBA Commissioner Adam Silver will be among many notables attending the groundbreaking Monday for the St. Vincent Center. The event kicks off construction of a $50 million practice facility and office building for the Indiana Pacers.
Silver will be joined by Pacers Owner Herb Simon, President of Basketball Operations Larry Bird and St. Vincent CEO Jonathan Nalli, among others. The 130,000 square foot facility will be built on what is currently an employee parking lot just east of Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
The St. Vincent Center will provide primary care along with cardiovascular and sports performance services for athletes and the public. It will include two practice courts and a state-of-the-art training space.
The groundbreaking will take place at 4:00 p.m.
