NAWBO Panel to Spotlight ‘Trailblazers’

Subscribe NowThe Indiana chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners will host its annual Trailblazers Luncheon Thursday in Indianapolis. The event, which is expected to draw more than 300 members and their guests, will feature a panel of successful women entrepreneurs, including executives from Lilly Diabetes and AES Corp. (NYSE: AES).
The luncheon aims to inspire Indiana women to start their own businesses or strive for new roles in their current businesses. Inside INdiana Business Assistant Managing Editor Andy Ober will moderate the panel.
The participants include Hathaway Strategies President Anne Hathaway, AES Corp. Corporate Communications Manager DeShong Perry-Smitherman, Lilly Diabetes Senior Director of Strategy and Operations Patty Martin and Lindsay Boccardo, principal of Lindsay Boccardo Inc., which specializes in helping companies attract and engage Millennials.
The event will be held at the Conrad Hotel in downtown Indianapolis.
Core Planning Strategies owner and event chair Deb Kunce hopes the event will inspire women to capitalize on opportunities in Indiana.
