Navy Awards Contract to Columbus CNC Company

Columbus-based Boyer Machine & Tool Co. Inc. has been awarded a $7.2 million U.S. Navy contract. The work involves supplying machined components for multiple aircraft programs.

The contract will be performed in Columbus and it is expected to be complete by July 2020. The machined items will support programs such as the EA-6B, EA-18G and F-18 aircraft and will assist Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane’s mission involving the efforts.

In addition to the defense industry, Boyer serves customers in aerospace, automotive, commercial manufacturing, diesel engines, electronics, medical/health care and research.
