Thousands of golf fans are expected to attend this week's United Leasing Championship at Victoria National Golf Club in Newburgh. This is the fourth year for the tournament, which is part of the Web.com Tour. Victoria National General Manager Steve Munch says, with around 15,000 fans and national exposure through the Golf Channel, it's a “several million dollar” impact on the Newburgh and Evansville area. Munch says over the last three years, the tournament has raised more than $350,000 for local charities. Ticket sales for the tournament go to nearly 90 local charities. Also, Evansville-based Old National Bank (Nasdaq: ONB) participates in its Golf Gives Back program, which provides matching funds.

The United Leasing Championship is April 27-May 3. You can learn more about this week’s tournament by clicking here.

Victoria National says it will host the United Leasing Championship through 2016.

Meanwhile, Munch says they have committed to the 2016 Men’s Big Ten Conference Championship. He says they have been working with the United States Golf Association for the past several years, and hope to be selected for the 2020 U.S. Senior Open. He says he hopes to know who will host the tournament by the end of this year.
