The National Association of Manufacturers will begin its 2015 State of Manufacturing Tour next month in West Lafayette. Purdue University President Mitch Daniels and NAM Chief Executive Officer Jay Timmons will speak at the event.

West Lafayette, Ind. — National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) President and CEO Jay Timmons will kick off the 2015 State of Manufacturing Tour in West Lafayette, Indiana, on Tuesday, February 3, along with Purdue University President and former Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels. At an address before faculty, students, the public and local manufacturers, Timmons will highlight the continued manufacturing comeback in the United States, as well as the challenges and burdens facing manufacturers of all sizes. The address will be followed by a panel of manufacturing industry leaders, who will discuss real-world solutions to these challenges and the importance of building the next generation of manufacturing leaders.
