National Industry Honor Goes to New Castle Entrepreneur

Subscribe NowThe head of a Henry County agricultural industry business is being honored by a national industry publication. New Castle-based Clark Family Drainage Inc. President Bob Clark II has been named 2016 Entrepreneur of the Year by Land Improvement Magazine.
The nearly 40 year-old company specializes in tilling, trenching and plowing. Clark Farm Drainage says the award honors a member of the industry who "displays the attributes of an exemplary professional in their field, and who has demonstrated a consistent ability to grow and build a successful business."
The business was founded in 1979 by Bob Clark Sr. along with one other employee.
Bob Clark II serves on several board and committees, including the $5 million Transforming Research Drainage Project at Purdue University and a U.S Environmental Protection Agency advisory committee.
