National Firm to Open Schererville Location

Arizona-based Airgas On-Site Safety Services will Thursday cut the ribbon on its new location in Schererville. Financial details are not being disclosed, however the industrial safety firm says it will add a small number of jobs.

The firm has more than a dozen locations throughout the country. The new Schererville location is the result of a decision to relocate from its office in South Holland, Illinois.

"Airgas On-Site Safety Services has been in the Chicago market area for years servicing the industry," said Rusty Coker, president of AOSS. "With the relocation from South Holland now complete, our team is well positioned to serve the greater Chicago market and surrounding area for years to come with ample room to grow. AOSS is extremely pleased with our new location in Schererville, Indiana and is much better positioned to serve our customers as we have over the many years in South Holland."

Representatives from AOSS will join members from the Schererville community Thursday to cut the ribbon and hold an open house, scheduled from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
