The founder of a charity music festival hopes it can have a positive social and economic impact on the community for years to come. The three-day Evermore Music Festival in downtown Indianapolis begins Friday will benefit the Red Cross of Indiana. During an interview with Inside INdiana Business, Nick White said similar festivals in other cities have raised millions of dollars.
The Evermore Music Festival runs Friday, September 30-Sunday, October 2 from 12:00-10:00 p.m. at the American Legion Mall. White says, each day, the event will showcase artists from different genres. The festival will also include food trucks, bar service and games.
Much of the funding will help clean-up efforts from last month’s series of destructive storms through the middle part of the state, particularly in Howard, Carroll and Montgomery counties.
