The Horizon Convention Center in Muncie says, after a recent renovation, it plans to rebrand the facility. HCC has issued a Request for Proposal and is looking for a marketing and communications organization to create a branding redesign.

May 21, 2015

News Release

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Horizon Convention Center (HCC) is soliciting proposals to oversee and implement the rebranding of the HCC, a 47,000 sq. ft. convention and meeting space located in Muncie, Indiana.

The rebranding will position HCC as a premiere, recently renovated, Midwest convention and meeting space destination within convenient traveling distance of the majority of the nation. The theme and story of the HCC should be conveyed through the logo, tagline, website and other marketing pieces.

HCC is seeking a marketing and communications organization, or otherwise qualified consultant, to direct the rebranding initiative. The successful contractor will create, strategize and implement an identity/branding redesign.

To request a copy of the Request for Proposal, please contact Brittany Collins, Marketing Coordinator, bcollins@muncie.com or 765-751-9121. Proposals must be received by noon on June 5, 2015 via email or to the Horizon Convention Center front desk at 401 S. High St. Muncie, Indiana.

The HCC is a meeting and convention space originally developed to bring conventions and business from outside the local community and host local events which add to the quality of life. To learn more about the HCC, visit HorizonConvention.com.

The HCC recently renovated much of its space and will soon include an attached hotel, Courtyard Muncie at the Horizon Convention Center. The hotel will house the Erskine Green Training Institute, a first-of-a-kind teaching hotel that will provide vocational training for persons with disabilities.
