Mosby says he is resigning to take a private sector job in Evansville. Prior to his role with the GCEDC, Mosby previously served as vice president of marketing for Ellis Park in nearby Henderson, Kentucky and sales manager for Holiday World in Santa Claus.
He is credited with playing a key role in attracting thousands of jobs to the area over the last decade. Additionally, Mosby has served as liaison for Gibson County’s Friendship City initiative with Tahara City, Japan.
In April, the GCEDC acquired the old DeMoss building on Princeton’s square, which had been unoccupied for years. Plans call for it to house startups and nonprofits in the future and it is now called The Business Center. At the beginning of the year, Mosby was selected for the board of the Indiana Economic Development Association.
The executive committee says the search for Mosby’s successor is underway. During a meeting in Princeton last week, board chairman Adam Hudson, who is an information technology manager for Superior Ag, also announced his resignation.
