More Wi-Fi Hotspots in Fort Wayne

(Nasdaq: CMCSA) has completed installation of more than 175 Wi-Fi outdoor hotspots in Fort Wayne. The company says the additional coverage is part of a strategy of bringing more public Wi-Fi hotspots to communities throughout the state.
Comcast says it now has more Wi-Fi hotspots coverage than any service provider in northeast Indiana. Most of its XFINITY Internet customers have free access to the hotspots. Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry says "providing residents, businesses, and visitors with enhanced public Wi-Fi capabilities in the heart of our city assists us in our efforts to be a point of destination."
