Indianapolis-based Monument Chemical has named Paul Raymond chief executive officer.

The company produces a variety of solvents and specialty fuels.

Raymond most recently served as president and CEO of New Jersey-based Sonneborn, an industrial company that produces white oils and hydrocarbons.

He has also served in leadership roles at Ashland Inc. Water Technologies, Honeywell and General Electric.
