Purdue University President Mitch Daniels has been elected to the board of directors of Norfolk Southern Corp. Chief Executive Officer James Squires says his insight will prove "invaluable" to the transportation company. Daniels will serve on the Compensation Committee and the Governance and Nominating Committee of Norfolk Southern’s board.
