The Mind Trust has named Bill Regan senior vice president of planning and operations. He was previously the director of academic & membership affairs at the NCAA. Before joining the NCAA, Regan directed compliance and academic and student-athlete services as an assistant athletic director at Stony Brook University, the University of Houston, Northern Arizona University and SUNY-Buffalo. He also served as an assistant coach of men’s soccer at Canisius College and men’s and women’s soccer at SUNY-Buffalo. Before working in sports administration, he worked as an attorney. In his new role, Regan will oversee The Mind Trust’s roadmap and aggressive timeline for launching more high-quality schools in the city and provide the requisite staffing, project management and organizational support to carry out these school growth efforts. Regan holds a bachelor’s degree from Buffalo State College, a law degree from the University of Akron and a master’s degree in sports administration from Canisius College.
