Gary-based Methodist Hospitals has named Lauren Trumbo chief financial officer and vice president of finance. Trumbo most recently was chief financial officer for Community Healthcare System’s St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago.

She began her career as a certified nurse assistant at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart and Miller’s Merry Manor in Portage. She currently serves as board president for both Mental Health America of Northwest Indiana and Northshore Health Centers and also serves in an advisory capacity with the Merrillville-based Nurse-Family Partnership.
