Messer Hosting Lawrenceburg Job Fair

Congressman Luke Messer (R-6) will Thursday host a job fair at Ivy Tech Community College in Lawrenceburg. More than 50 employers will be on hand to fill a variety of positions.

The job fair, being held in conjunction with WorkOne Southeast, will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the Lawrenceburg Riverfront campus, located at 50 Walnut Street. Messer’s office says U.S. military veterans will have the ability to come early, starting at 1:00 p.m.

"This year’s job fair should be another great event, with many area employers recruiting workers for high quality, good-paying jobs," said Messer. "We invite anyone looking for a job or new career to join us, and see what the Lawrenceburg community has to offer."

The event is free and open to everyone.
