Town of Whitestown Director of Operations and Economic Development Nathan Messer has been appointed by the Boone County Commissioners to the board of directors of the Central Indiana Regional Transportation Authority.

“Boone County is experiencing so much growth, it’s imperative that we look at ways to move people in addition to single-occupancy vehicles. Getting people to work at all the new employers located in Whitestown, is especially critical,” said Messer.

CIRTA is a regional governmental organization that is governed by a 17-member regional board to connect suburban and rural communities in Marion, Hamilton, Hancock, Shelby, Johnson, Morgan, Hendricks, Boone, Delaware and Madison counties.
