Merchants Capital has hired Denise Gomez Oluwo as senior vice president of government-sponsored enterprise underwriting. She has more than 15 years experience with multiple GSE lenders, including most recently as vice president, deputy chief underwriter for Walker and Dunlop. Gomez Oluwo will be responsible for underwriting loans, cultivating client and GSE partner relations and developing talent. She holds a bachelors degree from Smith College and a master’s from George Washington University.
