Tom Barnett, president of the IMDMC Board of Directors, says the organization has "progressed significantly" under Heuer’s leadership. He says the organization’s profile and membership value were elevated during her tenure as executive director.
"I have had an amazing last three years representing one of the finest and largest industries in Indiana, and am confident that we will find someone with the desire to take IMDMC to the next level of success for which I know we are poised," said Heuer. "With a new strategic plan completed and board members who are supportive of the goals and processes that were set in motion from the planning, I believe we are going to be able to realize tremendous growth in membership, advocacy, educational events and collaborations in the next few years."
The IMDMC says it is looking for an individual or firm to "provide association management services" following Heuer’s retirement. The organization has released a Request for Proposals on its website and is asking potential candidates to provide an notice of intent to bid by June 30.
