Measure Will Benefit Regional Rail Transit Efforts
An initiative to expand the South Shore rail line in northwest Indiana has received a significant boost. Our partners at The Times of Northwest Indiana report Governor Mike Pence has signed a bill that would close a tax loophole in Lake County and direct the $4 million annual savings toward the Northwest Indiana Regional Development Authority.
