Garrett Duffy has joined McGuire Sponsel as a tax consultant, assisting the specialty tax and consulting firm on data collection and analysis. He will be responsible for assisting clients with claiming and substantiating their federal and applicable state research and development credits. His duties include taking qualitative information from clients and converting it into quantitative data necessary for client research and development tax credit calculations.

Duffy will be applying his chemical engineering background to his new position. He previously worked with Surreal Estate Designs in Indianapolis analyzing and evaluating potential projects and their costs. At The Gorman Group and SI Group in New York, he completed lab work to evaluate and improve the quality of products.
