Leaders from the city of Gary are set Tuesday to announce details of this year's Gary Air Show. Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson said last year the event will relaunch in July at Marquette Park. The air show did not take off last year after the South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority attempted to move it to Fair Oaks Farms.

Organizers cancelled it with two weeks’ notice, citing flooding issues.
