Noblesville Mayor John Ditslear has appointed Steve Cooke deputy mayor. He will begin his new role Monday. Cooke was previously a vice president at Bose Public Affairs Group. He brings extensive communications experience from a wide variety of industries, including health care, real estate, professional services, manufacturing and telecommunications. Cooke is a graduate of Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications and a graduate of Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis with a master’s degree in public relations management. Currently, he serves on the Hamilton County Transit Forum and Film Indy advisory board. Cooke replaces Christy Langley, who was recently hired as director of planning and transportation for the city of Bloomington.
