Mayor Announces ‘Southside Gateway’ Schedule

Muncie Mayor Dennis Tyler says a $2 million beautification project will get underway next week. The Star Press reports planning for the southside gateway has taken several years. It will include a roundabout, new streetlights and infrastructure to manage water runoff.

Tyler tells the publication the work is expected to be complete by year's end.

Anderson-based E&B Paving Inc. has been contracted for the project.
