Terre Haute-based Garmong Development Co. LLC has entered into a public-private partnership with the city of Plymouth and Marshall County to build a shell building. The facility in the PIDCO Industrial Park is expected to be complete this summer.

Plymouth, Ind. — Garmong Development Company and Garmong Construction Services have executed a public/private joint venture Project Agreement with the City of Plymouth Redevelopment Commission, the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation, and the Plymouth Industrial Development Corporation (PIDCO). The project’s purpose is to facilitate the attraction of advanced manufacturing companies to Plymouth/Marshall County.

The Project Agreement calls for Garmong to provide the project financing and single source design-build delivery of a 45,000 square foot industrial shell building, expandable to 135,000 square feet, to be located at the PIDCO Industrial Park, within immediate proximity to the intersection of US 30 and US 31.

The new facility will be constructed of precast concrete to a clear height of 32’. The expansion wall will be constructed of state-of-the-art metal sandwich panels. Column bays will have a minimum spacing of 50’ x 50’. Site asphalt, sidewalks, drainage, and landscaping will be 100% complete. All utilities will be stubbed up inside the shell facility to facilitate immediate access.

All site and shell facility improvements are scheduled to be complete summer of 2014.
