Indianapolis-based Marsh Supermarkets Inc. is wrapping up the remodeling of three Indiana locations. The grocery chain says it has invested about $1 million each in stores in New Palestine, Muncie and West Lafayette.
The New Palestine and Muncie locations re-opened last week. The West Lafayette store will re-open on Friday, November 13. The renovations to the New Palestine location included a new pharmacy. The company says, thanks to "extremely positive." customer response, it will continue to remodel locations.
In September, Marsh announced it would be an in-store retail partner of the Indiana Department of Agriculture’s Indiana Grown initiative. That effort is designed to promote Indiana companies and food producers. At the time, Marsh said it would set up Indiana Grown kiosks in 50 stores throughout the state.
Marsh operates 73 Marsh Supermarkets and O’Malia Food Markets in Indiana and Ohio.
