A Pittsburgh-based grocery chain is looking to hire 500 Hoosiers for a new Carmel store. Giant Eagle will hold a job fair for its Market District store next month, in hopes of filling positions ranging from chefs to cashiers. The event is set for Saturday, June 6 from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the Sheraton Indianapolis Hotel. You can find more information by clicking here.

The Carmel store is expected to open this fall. It will be part of The Bridges development at 116th Street and Spring Mill Road.

The store is also looking to hire dairy product selection experts, dubbed “Cheesemongers.” Other available positions include bakers, caterers and associates in the deli, meat, produce and seafood departments.

Market District currently has 13 locations in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
