Marion, Ind. — July 16 – 21, 75 years of tradition and impact will come to Marion with its reach touching the globe through Momentum Youth Conference. During this week, CE National of Winona Lake, IN. will bring its yearly national youth conference to Marion and the campus of Indiana Wesleyan. The conference hosts approximately 100 groups from across the country numbering 2,100 people who will invade Marion and its surrounding areas. Momentum, a faith based conference for high school students will send attendees into the community Wednesday through Saturday of the conference to aid in many service projects, work projects, social services, and manual labor. During the week, nationally known speakers will challenge the students to action, specifically for when they return home. Momentum’s reach extends beyond Indiana through a WaSH (Water, Sanitation, Hygiene) packing event and a nutritional packing event for the country of Haiti.
