Fort Wayne-based CVC Communications Chief Executive Officer Marilyn Moran-Townsend has been named the 2016 Great Lakes Women’s Business Council Volunteer of the Year for Indiana. She was honored for her work to organize and lead programs supporting Women Business Enterprises. In addition to her work with the Fort Wayne strategic training and communications firm, Moran-Townsend has a long history of civic involvement. She chairs the Northern Indiana WBE Forum. In April, she was named to the 23-member panel created to review and recommend an alternative to the statewide ISTEP exam. CVC Communications was founded in 1981. The company says it has created more than 5,000 "Business Storytelling" tools to train the next generation of global leaders, employees and enterprises.
