Marian University Promotes Setmeyer to VP

Marian University has promoted Adam Setmeyer to vice president of mission and ministry. He served in that role on an interim basis since last January. Setmeyer will also keep the title of director of campus ministry, a position he has held since 2013. In his new role, he will be responsible for providing leadership and direction for the integration of Marian University’s Catholic and Franciscan identity, Campus Ministry, the enhancement of the spiritual environment on campus for all members of the university community, fostering faith development, strengthening community life and the Missionary Disciples Institute. Setmeyer also previously served as assistant director of university ministry at Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois. He also has experience serving in various youth ministry positions throughout his 15-year career. Setmeyer earned an M.A. degree in Theology from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago, and holds a B.S. in Youth Ministry from Huntington University.
