Wil Hampton has been promoted to assistant director of athletics for marketing and external affairs at Marian University. He joined the university in 2013 and has served in the Office of Institutional Advancement as executive director for athletic events, sponsorships and marketing. Hampton previously was a longtime sportscaster on television and radio including on-air stints at WISH-TV, WRTV and the Indianapolis Colts. In his new position, he will be responsible for the planning and execution of all marketing activities as they relate to university athletics.
