Marian University Hires Sports Information Director

In this role, he will have responsibility for publicizing the Knights athletics program and its student-athletes through media outreach, social media and the athletics website. Wadley previously spent two years as a graduate assistant in the Illinois State University athletics communications office. A 2014 graduate of Anderson University, he spent three years as a student assistant in the AU sports information office. While at Anderson University, he provided play-by-play and color commentary for seven different sports, and assisted on postgame releases, stats and public address announcing. Wadley also served three years as the sports editor of Anderson’s student newspaper, The Andersonian, and covered all 15 intercollegiate sports at AU. He obtained his master’s degree in sport management while serving as the primary media contact for women’s soccer and softball. Wadley served as the play-by-play commentator, produced weekly game notes and preseason media guides and maintained the ISU athletics website. He has also worked with the Big Ten Conference during the men’s basketball tournament in Indianapolis, and the NCAA during the men’s basketball Midwest Regional at Lucas Oil Stadium.
