News Release

LOWELL, Ind. – It isn't every day when a local company gets featured with national television coverage on the Fox Business Network. But it is about to happen!

Alltherm Services, located in Lowell, is a premier contractor of refractory systems and inventor of unique products to the steel and aluminum industries. Their systems work in extreme, high-heat situations where design, fabrication, installation, and production quality is critical to their customers. Alltherm will be featured February 10 at 8:30 Central on the Fox Business Network's “Manufacturing Marvels.”

A TV production crew spent a day in Lowell, Indiana to showcase Alltherm Services' unique custom refractory systems which feature ceramic fiber modules in roofs and doors that are lighter, easier to install and maintain, while cutting down on heat-loss and saving at least 20 percent in energy costs.

Jerry Skorupa, President and Founder of Alltherm Services said, “Since founding Alltherm Services in 1986 we have continuously been involved in innovating, inventing, and implementing new solutions to create better, money-saving refractory services and products to retain heat, last longer, and perform better in furnaces throughout North America. Our system includes specially designed side plates which provide a better seal between the door and furnace for more consistent temperature which allows furnace doors to last longer, our patented Ultra-Z spray-on coating keeps furnace linings in prime condition, and it's all kept in place with our Positive Plus R-1 Fiber Anchoring System. Additionally we make pre-cast custom tunnel-furnace lining blocks that fit together like puzzle pieces to insure precise fit and easy installation.”

Skorupa added, “This is what we do every day, constantly innovating to come up with new solutions to old problems. Industry professionals and outsiders are always impressed when they see what we do here at Alltherm Services. I'm sure the general public will be amazed with our company and our “Made in Northwest Indiana” products when they see us on TV!”
