The Indiana Manufacturers Association has hired Stephanie Wells to lead its work force development efforts. She has spent the last several years working in various state agencies, including the Legislative Services Agency and the Indiana Housing and Community Development Agency.

In a release from the IMA, Chief Executive Officer Brian Burton said, "Stephanie brings to the IMA added legislative experience and a firm grasp of workforce development issues. Workforce challenges are perhaps the most pressing issue facing Indiana’s manufacturers. Stephanie will be working closely with IMA members and policymakers to focus the state’s efforts on addressing the workforce needs of manufacturers."

Wells has also served as a legislative specialist for the Indiana Economic Development Corp.
