Manufacturer to Lay Off 70 in Brownsburg

Subscribe NowA manufacturer of aftermarket motorcycle performance parts has announced plans to halt operations at its Brownsburg facility. In a notice to the state, California-based Vance & Hines Performance LLC says the decision will result in the layoffs of 70 employees.
The company says it will cease manufacturing operations and relocate exhaust and handle bar production to another facility. The layoffs are expected to begin November 20 and continue through the end of the year.
"This action follows a thorough evaluation of our manufacturing operations and is intended to address challenges the business changes in a rapidly changing industry," the company said in a WARN notice filed with the Indiana Department of Workforce Development. "While the entire facility is not closing, the separations are expected to be permanent."
Vance & Hines also has a facility in Santa Fe Springs, California.
