Tennessee-based SCHOTT Gemtron Corp. is set to shut down its food display production unit in Vincennes over the next two weeks. In a revised notice to the state, the company says 40 jobs will be displaced, 25 fewer than previously announced. SCHOTT Gemtron says it is part of a company-wide reorganization initiative resulting from a “significant downturn” in business.

The company relocated the line from a Kentucky plant in 2012 and later announced the move resulted in more than 100 Hoosier jobs.
