Manufacturer Ramping Up Production The Etna Green facility opened in 2013.

A northern Indiana manufacturer is expanding its production capacity. Winona Powder Coating says adding a fourth line at its Etna Green facility will allow the company to respond more quickly to customer demand.

The Etna Green facility opened in 2013, and houses washers, automatic and manual coating booths and digitally-controlled ovens. The new line will include a five-stage wash system and an automatic powder booth. The company hopes to have it up and running by the third quarter of the year. Winona says it will also add additional manufacturing personnel.

In a release, Winona Powder Coating President Brian Bailey said, "This additional fourth line allows us to deal with the challenges of castings and heavy parts throughout the coating, curing and packing processes. We will also be able to reduce lead times and offer quicker customer response."

Winona Powder Coating also has operations in Elkhart and southern Michigan. The company serves customers in industries including agriculture, recreational vehicles, defense, automotive, heavy industry and government.
